Terms of Service
Effective July 28, 2026
These Terms govern your account, monthly subscription, and use of Data Plus Study. By creating an account, subscribing, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
An affordable, independently developed study platform for CompTIA Data+ DA0-002 preparation. It provides concise study notes, terminology, flashcards, matching, fill-in-the-blank exercises, 12 Practice Games (including Crossword), tests, practice exams, Targeted Review, and progress tracking.
CompTIA, Data+, and related certification names are trademarks or registered trademarks of CompTIA, Inc. and are used only to identify the certification for which the service provides preparation.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide a valid email address, confirm that address, and keep your sign-in credentials secure.
- Your account is personal to you. You may not share, sell, transfer, or provide access to another person.
- You are responsible for activity conducted through your account and for notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use.
3. Subscription and payment
Full study access requires a paid subscription. The standard plan is $9.99 USD per month. The limited launch offer is $4.99 USD per month for the first 3 monthly billing periods for subscriptions started no later than October 18, 2026. After the third discounted billing period, the subscription renews at $9.99 USD per month until canceled. The applicable price, discount, renewal terms, and any tax are shown at checkout before you submit payment.
Your subscription renews automatically each month until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe, our payment processor, to charge the payment method associated with your subscription on each renewal date. Stripe processes payment and billing information under its own terms and privacy practices.
If a payment fails, access may be restricted or suspended until payment is successfully completed. We may change the subscription price for future billing periods by providing reasonable advance notice. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.
4. Cancellation and no-refund policy
You may cancel at any time through Manage billing in your Data Plus Study account. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and access continues until that date. Cancel before your renewal date to prevent the next charge.
Subscription payments are non-refundable. We do not provide partial-month, unused-time, or retroactive refunds. If you believe a charge is duplicated or incorrect, contact support so we can investigate and correct a verified billing error. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies required by applicable law. The complete policy is available on the Cancellation and No-Refund Policy page.
5. Acceptable use
We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use the service for your own study. You must not:
- copy, reproduce, scrape, download in bulk, adapt, create derivative works from, republish, sell, sublicense, resell, or redistribute study content, question banks, software, or media;
- capture, record, archive, or publicly display substantial portions of the service through screenshots, screen recording, automated downloading, or similar means for redistribution or publication;
- remove, obscure, alter, or bypass any copyright notice, trademark notice, watermark, attribution, or other proprietary marking;
- use original Data Plus Study materials to build, train, operate, market, or improve another product, question bank, dataset, search index, model, retrieval system, or artificial-intelligence system without prior written permission;
- share account credentials or use another person's account;
- circumvent access controls, protective watermarking, rate limits, or security features;
- use automated tools to extract content or interfere with the service;
- attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data; or
- use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity.
6. Content and intellectual property
The Data Plus Study software, source code, interface, original notes, original questions and explanations, selection and organization of materials, visual designs, branding, images, audio, video, and other original platform materials are protected by intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, marks, facts, ideas, methods, and materials remain the property of their respective owners. Data Plus Study does not claim ownership of general facts, ideas, game mechanics, or third-party materials.
Except for the limited personal study right granted in these Terms, all rights in original Data Plus Study materials are reserved. Your subscription is a personal access licence; it does not transfer ownership, source files, bulk-access rights, publication rights, or redistribution rights. You may use information learned through the service for personal education. You may not reproduce, adapt, create derivative copies of, or distribute original platform content as a competing product, question bank, dataset, publication, public resource, model, retrieval system, artificial-intelligence system, or other commercial or non-commercial collection without prior written permission.
Suspected unauthorized copying may be reported to support@dataplusstudy.com. Data Plus Study may preserve evidence, suspend access, request removal from a website, host, search engine, or platform, and pursue other remedies available under applicable law.
7. Educational disclaimer
The service is provided for study, review, and practice. It does not provide live certification-exam questions, brain dumps, or confidential exam content. Actual certification exam questions are confidential.
We do not guarantee that content is complete, error-free, or sufficient for a passing exam result. Certification requirements and objectives may change, and you remain responsible for confirming current exam information with the certification provider.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and accurate, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. We may update, correct, add, remove, or reorganize features and content. Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, security, provider outages, or circumstances beyond our control.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create a security risk, fail to pay, or engage in unlawful activity. You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations—will survive.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, exam success, or error-free content.
To the extent permitted by law, Data Plus Study will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of opportunity, exam fees, or lost profits arising from use of or inability to use the service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not remove mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, or operational changes. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate. Continued use after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
